Fara - For Festivities & Beyond
Fara - For Festivities & Beyond
Our latest collection, Fara, is a captivating blend of vibrant color, craftsmanship, and versatility. Crafted from pure, soft linen in tones of blue and ivory, Fara showcases the beauty of traditional weaving techniques and hand embroideries inspired by Yemeni costumes. With a range of contemporary silhouettes and ornate details, this collection invites you to build on your personal style using these handcrafted pieces for intimate gatherings and festive celebrations alike.
Two distinct weaves elevate the beauty of linen and add depth to each garment. The first features broad tonal stripes in shades of navy and ivory, creating a visual flow that captivates the eye. The interplay of these colors, woven into the linen fabric, adds a sophisticated touch to the collection. The second weave has a solid linen base that serves as the perfect canvas for a bold border woven with metallic threads, shimmering in the light and adding a touch of glamour to the otherwise-simple weave. Subtle ochre stripes along the selvedge provide a beautiful contrast, complementing the metallic border and creating a harmonious balance. Both weaves are expertly crafted to showcase the versatility of linen and the artistry of traditional weaving techniques.
Colour blocking and fine patchwork add a new dimension.
The collection abundantly uses color blocking, a technique that breathes life into each piece through bold and playful combinations. Pure linen in a striking palette of navy, light blue, and ivory is expertly cut and patched together to create dynamic proportions in shirts, kurtas, and dresses. The interplay of these colors is enhanced by metallic woven borders and stripes, adding a touch of shimmer that elevates the overall aesthetic. The fine ochre stripes along the selvedge provide an additional layer of interest, seamlessly integrating with the primary colors to create interest. Stripes run horizontally, vertically, and even diagonally, the use of our signature weave is both innovative and versatile.
